FORME TV — The Family Channel ("FORME TV", "we", "us") operates this website and the FORME TV YouTube channel. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the website you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address to create and manage your FORME TV account.
- YouTube subscription status — with your permission, we check whether your YouTube account is subscribed to the FORME TV channel (see Section 2).
- Participation applications — details you submit when applying for a show: name, mobile number, email, college, talent information and any photo you provide.
- Career applications — details you submit when applying for roles such as actor, anchor, singer or crew.
- Voting records — when you vote, we record your vote, the time, and technical identifiers (such as IP address and a device token) to enforce fair-voting limits and prevent abuse.
- Technical data — standard log and cookie data needed to keep the site secure and working.
2. Google & YouTube Data
Our sign-in uses Google OAuth with the minimum permissions necessary:
- Basic profile (name, email) — to identify your account.
- View your YouTube account (read-only) — used for exactly one purpose: checking whether you are subscribed to the FORME TV channel, which unlocks watching shows, voting and participation on this website.
We never post, comment, subscribe, or change anything on your YouTube account, and we never read your watch history. Access tokens are stored encrypted and are never shared. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from the verification page ("Change Google Account") or by removing FORME TV's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
FORME TV's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. How We Use Information
- To operate the website: accounts, subscription verification, voting, applications and results.
- To review show and career applications and contact applicants.
- To keep voting fair (rate limits, duplicate detection, audit logs).
- To secure, maintain and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Sharing
We share information only with: (a) service providers who host and run this website under confidentiality obligations; (b) authorities when the law requires it; and (c) our production team, for the applications you choose to submit. Nothing else.
5. Data Retention
Account and application data is kept while your account or application is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Voting audit records are kept for the duration of a campaign and its review window. You may request deletion at any time (Section 8).
6. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, encrypt stored OAuth tokens, restrict administrative access and log security-relevant events. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data proportionately to its sensitivity.
7. Children & Family Audience
FORME TV is a family channel. Website accounts, voting and applications are intended for users aged 13 and over; contestants and applicants below 18 must apply with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
8. Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to disconnect your Google account. Write to us at the contact below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
9. Cookies & Local Storage
We use essential cookies (login session, security tokens, an anonymous voting token) and small browser-storage items for convenience (your theme choice, dismissed notices). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Embedded videos are served via YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com); YouTube's own policies apply to the embedded player.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above always reflects the latest version, and material changes will be announced on the website.
